COUNTY COUNCIL TO HOLD PUBLIC HEARING ON SPEED MONITORING SYSTEMS
Citizens Encouraged to Comment on Proposed Speed Camera Locations

The Prince George’s County Council will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, July 12, 2011, to receive public comment on potential locations for speed monitoring systems to regulate traffic in Prince George’s County.  The public hearing is a requirement of Council Bill 37-2009, which authorizes the use of speed monitoring systems and requires the County Council to hold at least one public hearing prior to installation.

Those who wish to testify at the public hearing should register with the Office of the Clerk of the Council at (301) 952-3600, TDD (301) 925-5167. Written testimony may be provided to the Clerk of the Council, Room 2198, County Administration Building, 14741 Governor Oden Bowie Drive in Upper Marlboro, Maryland.
