Only the kinds of items explicitly mentioned in UPDATE 2 will definitely be collected (yes, i see that pesky "etc.") 
(*) The mention of Forever Green Recycle is now inadvertently out of date for this event. For future reference, Forever Green Recycle of Chantilly, VA says "we accept drop offs of old electronic equipment Mondays through Saturdays. 9am to 4pm. ".
