Hello, all:

Here is the information from the Red Cross. They gave me the name of the property manager for Cherry Glen, Deanna. I spoke with her. She is encouraging people to bring any size clothes. They will also take non-perishable food items, toiletries, towels, wash clothes, and other personal hygiene items. They can be delivered to 11238 Cherry Hill Rd , Apt T-3 between 10am and 4pm. There are several families who lost everything, and the Red Cross housing ends today (they only supply housing for 3 days!). Several of the families do not have insurance to help them rebuild, but they still have their mortgages to pay.

The Beltsville Fire Department is accepting gift cards from any place in any denomination, especially Target or Walmart, etc. They can be delivered to the Beltsville VFD anytime.

Ann Rowland and members of the Homeless Committee are planning to take clothing today. If anyone can help by donating or helping Ann deliver the items, she will be at church from 10am until noon. I am taking gift cards to the Fire Department. Let's give these people some help, especially at Christmas.

God Bless,

Kathy Mellott
