Laurel Police will Conduct Sobriety Checkpoint
Mayor Craig A. Moe and Chief Richard McLaughlin have announced that the Laurel Police Department will conduct a sobriety checkpoint on Friday, November 15, 2013 from 11:00pm to 3:00am in the 100 block of Second Street.
Mayor Moe and Chief McLaughlin agree the way to reduce motor vehicle injuries and deaths is to remove impaired drivers from our streets. Conducting periodic sobriety checkpoints raises public awareness and informs citizens about the efforts that are being used to identify and apprehend impaired drivers.
