UPDATE: Brock Bridge Rd Now Confirmed Closed until Aug 1 for Culvert Work - Photos

UPDATE: The electric sign has changed to confirm that Brock Bridge road will continue to be closed until August 1, vice July 21; as observed and reported by a resident of Woodbridge Crossing HOA.

These photos were taken 7/11 afternoon, just before the closure of Brock Bridge Rd, for culvert replacement, to reduce frequent flooding on Brock Bridge Rd (MAP) . The large concrete pipes in the photos appear to be involved.

The Ann Arundale County DPW notice below says the closure is until August 1, but the electric traffic signs in the photos say 7/11-7/21.

Culvert Work Closes Brock Bridge Road at Prince George’s County Line

Annapolis, Maryland (July 10, 2014) – Culvert replacement work beginning tomorrow will close a flood-prone section of Brock Bridge Road for approximately three weeks from the Prince George’s County line to Maryland City Park. 

The Department of Public Works Bureau of Highways expects to reopen Brock Bridge Road on August 1, 2014.  Electronic message boards were also posted along the road in both directions to alert motorists.
