Prince George’s County Announces Holiday Closings for Labor Day

Prince George’s County government offices, with the exception of public safety agencies, will be closed on Monday, September 1, 2014, in observance of Labor Day.
LARGO, MD –– The following services and facilities managed by the Department of the Environment (DoE) will be closed or suspended on Monday, September 1, 2014.
Brown Station Road Sanitary Landfill

TheBus, under the administration of the Department of Public Works and Transportation (DPW&T), will be suspended on Monday, September 1, 2014 in observance of Labor Day. In addition, the County’s Call-A-Bus, including senior transportation services, will be suspended on Monday, September 1. Normal route services will resume on Tuesday, September 2, 2014.
The Department of Permitting, Inspections and Enforcement (DPIE) will be closed on Monday, September 1, 2104, for the Labor Day holiday. Normal business hours will resume on Tuesday, September 2, 2014.
In addition, Prince George’s CountyClick 3-1-1 will be closed on Monday, September 1, 2014 and will return to normal operations on Tuesday, September 2, 2014. However, residents can still submit service/issue requests online at www.countyclick311.com
